Contrast in a Different Reality, Gouache on Bristol Board, 8x8, 2024

This painting was done in gouache. I chose two colors that contrast intensely, those being red and green. I challenged myself to strictly only use those two colors to make ranges of colors of reds, pinks, greens, and layers of browns. I feel this painting displays a different reality. It is meant to feel warm and uplifting. This is a piece from my pet series.
